Write for us
Clever Athlete Journal welcomes pitches that clarify one specific part of athletic performance for a general reader. We are interested in careful explanation, useful comparisons and well-shaped background, not sweeping claims or personal prescriptions.
What to pitch
Propose a focused article about training concepts, skill practice, recovery routines, equipment design or performance language. Strong pitches name the reader's question, explain the central idea and show what the piece will leave out as well as what it will cover.
A useful proposal
Send a working title, a short summary, the intended reader and a note about the relevant experience or sources behind the idea. Avoid claims that depend on invented testing, guaranteed outcomes or advice tailored to an individual's health or circumstances.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please wait for a reply before preparing a full draft.
Performance is built in the details
We look past grand promises to examine the choices, habits and ideas that shape athletic performance. Clear explanations matter more than one-size-fits-all answers.
